Spring 2009!
A time for new beginnings, it's a long story!
This season is all about length. The longer, the better it seems, the good news, as you can so much more to do with longer hair. Popular in this season's loose curls, hang around your face. With the days warming up it's great to have choice, the schoolgirl ponytail is big this season with nothing in the to-do category. Up Hits want to belong, the Dutt (To put it simply, the bread), milk girl pigtails (first from Sienna Miller already introduced in 2007) and turns. These come in various shapes and forms and worn casual or formal. Check out the various "Prom & Updo" sections in our hairstyle galleries for great ideas.
The styles vary, but one thing remains constant - it has to be messy. So girls, it's time to perfect "straight out of bed" look! Getting this right requires a little work, it's not as simple as 'literally' out of bed.
Here are a few tips to get it right. First start with a volume shampoo, this will give your hair more volume, without the use of other hair care products. Hang your head blow dry upside down and do a fast. If you just want to tease a bit messy the ends a little. If you have a few curls with a curling iron on the ends to cool the hair and loosen the curls easily. Now that you have your messy hair, you can use it in a ponytail or create a bun by twisting your ponytail and pinning it to the base.
Color Magic: this season's big hit blonde! Introduced by the head trendsetter, Kate Moss, and others want to follow, such Gwenth Paltrow. Although this might be a little drastic for most of the rule this spring: "Brighten Up", no matter what color your hair is as long as it is 2 to 3 shades lighter than usual.
